
The passage of Senate Bill 384 by the 73rd Legislature moved the Advisory Commission on State Emergency Communications (ACSEC) into the state's general appropriations fund.
The ACSEC oversees the Texas 9-1-1 program with each council of governments (Cogs) administering their perspective jurisdictions. The strategic planning process for the Cogs are listed below:
