This is a great way to visit important Egyptian historical sites
combined with an experience few people have had. The vacation is rewarding to biking enthusiasts with a little adventure in their soul.

Difficulty: Moderate with climbing, walking and biking.
Friday: Depart New York at 11PM on
your non-stop flight to Egypt.
Saturday: Arriving Cairo you will be
met by our staff who will assist with clearing immigration and
customs then transfer you to the Sonesta hotel.
Sunday: Morning flight to Sharm El
Sheik. Departing Sharm you will enjoy spectacular desert and
mountain landscapes as you ride to the foot of Mount Sinai.

Monday: Depart early and climb Mount
Sinai to enjoy the sunrise. Behind the monastery, a footpath with
3,750 stone steps carved out of rock lead up to the summit as well
as a switch back camel trail. Tradition holds that God spoke to
Moses here through the burning bush and later gave him the Ten
Commandments on the mountain's summit. Afterward returning to the base visit St. Catherine's monastery. O/N St. Catherines Plaza

Tuesday: Cycle downhill about 36
miles from the hotel to the Rock of Inscriptions where travelers
from the Nabateans of 8,000 years ago to the Children of Israel during Exodus, to the Greco-Roman Empire
soldiers and early Christian travelers have left their messages
and directions. Nearby the Rock is Ein Khudra, traditionally
Hazarot of the Children of Israel. Here we will load the Bikes onto
camels and ride the
"ship of the desert" across the barren wasteland to Wadi

Wednesday: Cycle through the desert
to Wadi Fin. O/N Camp. (B,L,D)
Thursday: Load the bikes on camel and ride through the desert to
the colored Canyon. O/N Camp. (B,L,D)
Friday: Cycle to Wadi Malach then
transfer by vehicle to Sharm. (B,L)
Saturday: Fly to Cairo and enjoy the
city for the day. O/N Sonesta. (B)
Sunday: Staff will transfer you to
the airport, assist with exit formalities and checking in for your
9AM international flight.
GROUP TOURS INCLUDE:
Maximum of 16 travelers.
Round trip air from JFK (add on air from other U.S. cities
available). All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour
program starting with arrival to Cairo.
Baggage handling of no more than 2 pieces of luggage per person
however baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk at
all times during the tour.
Hotels (based on double occupancy).
Meals as outlined by B for Breakfast, L for lunch and D for
dinner. Fees for visiting antiquity sites and museums. Services of an English speaking licensed Egyptologist.

Travel Insurance for those departing from the USA or Canada.
Not included are: items of a personal nature such as tips for

entry visa (available at the airport on entry for USA and Canadian
