The "One" award is given by the Industrial and Institutional Review to one very outstanding commercial recipient site once each month. Only one trophy is awarded. There are no categories. At the end of the year, We will also award a yearly trophy from the previous twelve monthly winners. Links to the previous twelve monthly winners, as well as to the previous yearly winner will be provided on this page. The selection process involves many things. Design is of course crucial, but our definition of design encompasses many attributes. Obvious criteria is graphics and page layout. However, we also examine flow and navigation, functionality, entertainment value, information value, uniqueness, the success of the site in communicating information to a target market and it's commercial value. We are in the selection process at this time to determine the first winner. That winner will be announced, and the site critiqued on July 1. Each month we will repeat the process.
