The Panhandle Runners & Triathletes club sponsors several events during the year. Meetings are held monthly at the Wellness Center behind Gulf Coast Hospital. The Club meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. Membership in the Panhandle Runners & Triathletes Club is open to interested individuals. Additional information about membership can be obtained by contacting Bill Martinec at 784-9023. The club publishes a monthly newsletter and sponsors a variety of motivational programs for runners, swimmers, bikers, and triathletes of all levels.
