We are looking for a few good web sites. InterCity Oz, Inc. is initiating a program which you might think of as being very similar to a television network. This will involve providing free web space to aspiring webmasters. In order not to mislead potential applicants, we wish to point out that this offer is based on eventually sharing advertising revenue. See below for details. Our criteria for inclusion in this program is fairly straight forward, but applicants will be accepted based on a very individual analysis of that site's potential audience. While it is not necessary that your web site currently be on line to be considered, the site must be substantially complete and available for our viewing. If the site is not on-line, we will allow you to upload the site to our system so that we can analysis it's potential. If you are interested, you may e-mail us with information about your site.

We are looking for the following:

A current potential audience of about 10,000 viewers per month. While the site does not have to be receiving this many impressions, we must feel that it has the current potential to do so. Keep in mind that you don't even have to be on the web at this point.

A future potential audience of at least 100,000 viewers per month. With proper promotion, we must believe that the site has a potential of at least 100,000 impressions per month. However, getting the site to this level will be a partnership between you and InterCity Oz, Inc., meaning that we will work with you, helping you to promote the site to obtain such a level of traffic.

Content which would be acceptable to network TV. This basically means no real fowl language or actual nudity. It does not mean that we will not take bikini clad, or skimpily dressed girls. However, content must always be significant. We will probably not accept sites with pictures only.

Significant content which is updated regularly. This means that the site must have interesting content, and the webmaster must be prepared to update such content on at least a monthly if not ongoing basis.

At this time, we will accept no more then about fifty sites. The reason for this is that we will provide a program manager that will work with no more then ten sites each. Their job will be to work with the web masters on an individual bases, helping to promote the site, even providing technical coding support, graphic support, etc.

So how will InterCity Oz, Inc. benefit? InterCity Oz, Inc. will collect from participants one-third of all advertising revenue from the site. This percentage is negotiable for larger, proven sites. As a hosting service, we have a substantial number of commercial businesses on line (see our sponsor pages) which we will be actively working with to place sponsorship banners. In addition, we have a network of sales people who will also be actively attempting to place banner advertising. Typically, we will be requesting from three to five cents per impression when they sponsor a site, of which InterCity Oz will retain one-third. When such sponsorship is not available for a site, we will be placing paid banners on sites from banner companies such as IBN. We will attempt to negotiate the most profitable arrangements with such companies, and will guarantee timely payments to our affiliate web sites. Again, we will receive one-third of such revenue.

Which brings up the question, who are we? It's seems easy on the Internet to catch a lot of hype. Companies will do this or that for you, but more then a few never come through. We know that because we have been a serious content provider since the beginning of the graphical web; back when Mosaic ruled. The difference is, InterCity Oz is not really a startup company. We are owned by a financially strong, twenty plus year old heavy equipment manufacturing company called American Turbine. Because of that, and perhaps because we work so hard to satisfy our customers, we are the official site of several Chambers of Commerces (see our home page), a Texas agency (SPAG), as well as a DOD presence provider. In fact, we have just signed a contract with the Country of Egypt to officially represent their Ministry of Tourism and the Egyptian Tourism Authority on the web.
