Handel's only true, sacred oratorio, this exceptional work includes the familiar "Hallelujah Chorus" and "Great Amen". A Concert for Lent

Maestro Albert-George Schram, the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra and the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra and the Lubbock Symphony Singers present a program of reverent, albeit joyous musical offerings on this spiritually symbolic occasion.

Among the brilliant orchestral and vocal selections will be the Albinoni (arr. Giazotto) Adagio in G minor... Allegri's Miserere... the Pachelbel Canon a 3 on a Ground in D... and Mozart's magnificent Coronation Mass (Mass in C major k.317 "Coronation").
