Add to this dynamic mixture the superb talents of guest artists such as violinist Liva Sohn....guitarist Richard Cobo... Lubbock's own concert pianist, William Westney.. world class vocal soloists Edith Davis, Wendy Hillhouse, Stuart Skelton and William Rhodes performing Verdi's dramatic Requiem...and the larger-than-life skills of pianist Andre Watts.

SANCTUARY SERIES

Still another harmonious hallmark of The Golden Season will be the inaugural performances of the LSO's own Lubbock Symphony Singers - a chamber choir featuring 24 professional voices performing for the first time under Maestro Schram's baton. The '95-96 debut of this exceptional choral ensemble with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra will be a presentation of Handel's Messiah, followed by a March 5 concert for Lent highlighted by Mozart's Coronation Mass and the Pachelbel Canon.

These musical offerings, heard in the marvelous acoustics of local sanctuaries, will be magnificent tributes sure to make your spirit soar. Plan now to attend these special celebrations of voice and orchestra.
