Piano Lab, Grade 9, 1/2-1 Credit [Regular]
Basic piano instruction for students with little or no keyboard skill. An electronic laboratory consisting of a teacher’s console and student pianos equipped with headphones and an intercommunication system. Facilitates both individual and group instruction and performance. Intermediate or advanced piano is available for students who take piano in grades 7 and/or 8.

The men’s chorus consists of a choir that engages in music of various historical styles. Particular emphasis will be placed on barbershop, folk music, and American music. Good performance and reading techniques will be stressed with the idea of creating a unique group for the school and community. Open to all male students. The mixed choir shall be the beginning chorus for the four year program. The vocal group is open to anyone with an interest in singing all types of music.
