Cosmetology I, Grade 11, 3 Credits, [Regular]
Designed to prepare students for careers as cosmetologists. After successfully completing two years of Cosmetology, students are eligible to take the State Board of Cosmetology Examination for a cosmetologist’s license. Cosmetology II, Grade 12, 3 Credit, [Regular]
Designed to prepare students for careers as cosmetologists. After successfully completing two years of Cosmetology, students are eligible to take the State Board of Cosmetology Examination for a cosmetologist’s license. The license qualifies students to be a hair stylist, nail technician, and esthetician (specialist in make-up and facials). Course consists of practical work including studies of anatomy, bacteriology, the chemistry of cosmetics, and salon management. Prerequisite: Cosmetology I with a minimum of 570 certified hours.
