REQUEST FOR ASSIGNMENT FOR COURSES NOT SCHEDULED AT HOME SCHOOL

Students desiring to enroll in a course not scheduled at their home school should consult with their counselor or principal.

    A. PROFESSIONAL CAREERS MAGNET (MEDICAL PROFESSIONS) - ESTACADO HIGH SCHOOL

    LUBBOCK EXEMPLARY ACADEMIC PROGRAM (LEAP) - LUBBOCK HIGH SCHOOL

    Students in grades 10-12 from Coronado, Estacado, Lubbock, and Monterey High Schools are eligible for the Professional Careers Magnet (Medical Professions) at Estacado High School and the Lubbock Exemplary Academic Program (LEAP) at Lubbock High School as full-time students.     B. OTHER ASSIGNMENTS

    Assignments between high schools for courses not being taught in a student’s home school will be only for that part of the day that the course is being taught, unless a regular transfer has been processed through the Student Services office. Transfers should be requested no later than March 1.

    Requests for career education course assignments should be made during the spring semester immediately preceding enrollment for the course. Senior high school students desire a career education course assignment should make application through the career counselors in their schools. The following occupational education and technology courses are scheduled only at the schools as indicated below:
