Industrial Tax Abatement: A firm spending $500,000 or more on improvements to a site or an existing site could receive term and % of tax abatement on improvements only. This is a negotiated contract between the company and governing body. The maximum term under state law is ten years.
North and South Zones; Available Incentives: Sales Tax refunds for local purchases and employment, Building Permit Fee refunds, Commercial Tax Abatement. These incentives are available only within designated enterprise zones.
