      Job Training:

      Local Programs: Aid with job training through JTPA and Community College; State Programs: Smart Jobs.

      Tax Incentives:

      Industrial Tax Abatement: A firm spending $500,000 or more on improvements to a site or an existing site could receive term and % of tax abatement on improvements only. This is a negotiated contract between the company and governing body. The maximum term under state law is ten years.

      Enterprise Zones:

      North and South Zones; Available Incentives: Sales Tax refunds for local purchases and employment, Building Permit Fee refunds, Commercial Tax Abatement. These incentives are available only within designated enterprise zones.

      Infrastructure Abatement:

      The City offers to qualified companies the potential to receive infrastructure improvements and upgrades at no cost or reduced cost.
