The approach will be through readings, visuals, tours and resource people from the art community, and will provide an opportunity for practical experience in various media and styles of art. Skills for discriminating between differing styles and periods will be introduced, with an emphasis on the use of visual thinking skills and evaluative processes that can lead to critical thinking and responsible value judgments in all areas of life.
