Mathematics 8
Opportunities will be provided to solidify previous mathematics skills, develop abstract reasoning skills, use technology, and prepare students for Algebra and Geometry. Taught at all junior high schools. (3103100)

Algebra 8
This course follows Mathematics 7 AC and includes all topics covered in the Algebra I course taught in the high schools. One (1) credit of high school mathematics is earned upon successful completion of this course. Taught at all junior high schools. (3100500)

Algebra 8 Honors
This course follows Mathematics 7 Honors and includes all topics taught in Algebra 8 but with less emphasis on drill and major emphasis on mathematical systems. One (1) credit of high school mathematics is earned upon successful completion of this course. Taught at Cavazos and Dunbar. (3100500)

Algebra 8 Pre-AP
Algebra pre-AP is an in-depth course study designed for the highly motivated college-bound student who desires the experience of Geometry I Pre-AP and high school AP Calculus. Students will develop a strong background in the effective use of essential algebraic skills. Taught at Hutchinson and O.L. Slaton. (3100500)
