Opportunities will be provided in a laboratory-oriented life science course that includes manipulative laboratory skills, investigation, problem-solving, and real life applications. Taught at all junior high schools other than Dunbar. (3013000)

Science 7 Honors
This course is an introduction to biological concepts and to science in general. It is a mixture of broad concepts and detailed vocabulary acquisition. It includes the required essential elements of Science 7 while accelerating and expanding the subject matter. Taught at Cavazos, Hutchinson and O.L. Slaton. (3013000)

Science I Block
This course provides science instruction that includes a collection of laboratory/field activities that draw on all the scientific disciplines (biology, chemistry, physics, earth, and space sciences). Taught only at Dunbar. (3013000)
