Taekwondo: the spectacular ancient art of kicks and strikes! (ATA is the American affiliate of the World Traditional Taekwondo Union, the Wttu) Self-defense skills are a by-product of regular class attendance which yields aerobic fitness, muscle toning, flexibility, strength and stress management...Non-contact sparring, disciplined, highly structured classes, and individual, non-competitive progress.. Optional belt tests every seven weeks allow advancement to higher rank.. No equipment required other than a uniform, available for purchase from any instuctor but not necessary to begin with..a family atmosphere of cooperation and friendship prevails as you train! Classes run continuously with unlimited attendance per month (twice weekly is recommended) as age and rank permit. Simultaneous kids' and adults' classes allow families to come together. Childcare available.

Karate For Kids-
Kinderkicks:Pre-Taekwondo for very young ones: Fun physical activity teaches through play. Weekly citizenship themes of courtesy, honesty, etc. Kids develop confidence and self-discipline. (4-6 yr.olds; may not attend other classes)
Karate For Kids (I):Beginning level classes, high energy basic kicking and punching skills, balance, coordination and self-esteem start kids out right. (7-10 yr. old; white, orange & yellow belts)
Karate For Kids (II): More intense curriculum for intermediate/advanced of all ages and Beginners 10-13 yrs. Leaderships skills, self-worth, cooperation and goal-setting are stressed along with more complex techniques.
Evening & Saturday Karate For Kids: All ages 7-14, beginning through advanced the same program as the popular afternoon classes for extra classes or working parents. These classes may be interchanged or added to any other K for K class offered.
Taekwondo USA for Teens and Adults-
You are never too old or out of shape to start! Basic techniques get you conditioned mentally as well as physically. Use your own limitations and strengths. Flexible class times for erratic schedules. (14-70+ years)
Morning Adult Escape Workout:
10:45-11:45 am Wed/Fri. No kids allowed!
Childcare available $1/class
Right After Work: (participation with kids' class) 5:15 TTh
Evenings/Saturdays (times according to your rank) Great for families! Kids classes run simultaneously.
Sparring: Super aerobic tension reliever! Mix and match different classes according to your own schedule...attend as often as you want, the fee remains the same!
