Qanibey Emir Akhur Medersa

The Qanibey Emir Akhur Medersa was built in 1503 and is built entirely of stone. The facade overlooks the square and forms a sabil-kuttab, an entrance at the top of a flight of steps and a mausoleum that has a high pitched cupola. The cupola is decorated with geometric and floral motifs. There is a central courtyard that opens up to the sky and four iwan.
